Clients not suitable for cosmetic tattoo:

  • Pregnant or nursing.

  • Under 18 years of age.

  • Previous cosmetic tattoo (must send in pictures of area - must be approved to be worked on).

  • On blood thinning medications 3 days prior to appointment (Advil, Midol, Aspirin, Motrin, Aleve, Accutane, Retinol, Retin-A, Vitamin A, C & E, Fish Oils, Niacin).

  • Immune system disorders.

  • Skin cancer, diabetes, glaucoma, lupus, HIV or Hepatitis.

  • Smokers.

  • Accutane or steroids in the past year.

  • Skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, sun burn, extremely oily skin etc.

  • Epilepsy or organ transplant.

  • History or Keloid/ hypertrophic scarring.

  • Uncontrolled high blood pressure.

  • Sick (cold, flu etc.)

  • Allergies to make-up or colours.

  • Botox/ dermal filler, tan, chemical peels, laser facials or exfoliation in the past 3 weeks.

  • Do not tweeze, wax, or tint eyebrows one week prior. 

  • No eyelash extensions, droopy, vascular eyelids or use of any lash serums in the last 6 months (for lash line enhancement).

  • History of cold sores on lips. (For lip blush only. If so, consult with your physician. Many clients avoid breakouts by taking a Valtrex cycle prior to their appointment.)

  • Fitzpatrick Skin Types IV, V and VI (for lip blush tattoo).
